Leading services like Netflix and Prime, Hulu provides several amazing TV shows, many of which you can’t stream anywhere else, and there are times when Hulu is better than Amazon Prime Video.

Is there a free version of Hulu?
No, the free version of Hulu is ending now, ad-supported streaming services. However, there’s the good news for its users: You can still find some of the previously free content on a new platform called Yahoo View. Viewers can watch the latest 5 episodes from major shows on ABC, NBC, and FOX for 8 days after their original broadcast.

Nowadays, Yahoo is Hulu’s “preferred partner” for all of the episodes from the free content. Apart from Yahoo, Comcast’s Xfinity also provides all of Hulu’s free content; other sites also carry free episodes from Hulu includes New York magazine’s Vulture.com and Time Inc.’s People.com.

Hulu is moving toward a subscription-only model so that it can compete with great streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. Currently, Hulu is offering 2 subscription plans: $7.99 per month with commercials, and $11.99 per month without any ads.

How does the free trial work?
After signing up, new Hulu subscribers can try the Hulu plan of their option for free. With the Hulu (No Ads) plan, you’ll have unlimited access to the streaming library for 30 days.

When your free trial is over, you’ll be charged month-to-month. You can cancel anytime online or by calling them Hulu activate contact support page, and if you do so before your trial ends, your card won't be charged the monthly subscription fee.

To watch the content without the internet, Hulu is adding a new “Downloads” tab. You also can look through for shows and movies to download by clicking on “See what’s Downloadable,” says Hulu.

Users will be able to download up to 25 titles across 5 devices and will have up to 30 days to watch the downloaded content. After starting playback of downloaded content, viewers have 2 days to watch before the download expires. If you didn’t complete watching, you’ll have to renew the expired download while online.
